recently our family started the first trip into the mountains. our destination was the 'eispalast' which is carved in top of dachstein glacier. its a cave with bearing ice columns, some ice sculptures, at the dachstein glacier and a window into real crevasse. the most exciting moment was the huge silence when enter the cave. returning back we enjoyed the large alps panorama you have from the dachstein (lift station at 2.700m) i think our daughter was realy impressed...
